Berkeley CCM-1000

Core-cutting Machine

The Berkeley CCM-1000 core cutting machine is a useful tool for any converting operation using cardboard or plastic cores (subject to testing).  The cores can be bought in standard lengths and cut to variable sizes enabling shorter stock holdings and more efficient methods of saving on cores.  The parent core (1000mm) is loaded onto the acquired shaft and a quick setting knife cuts the core which revolves on the shaft, driven by a motor.  Once the motor has stopped, the cores are then offloaded quickly through a tool-less release of pre-cut cores.  The machine is designed for easy maintenance and quick change of parts.
